Adler’s Albergotti on Landis-Lance doping charges

By

NYC team Jonathan Adler Racing is a local powerhouse both on the road and on the cyclocross scene. And among the ranks of the colorfully kitted riders is savvy investigative reporter Reed Albergotti, a road racer and journalist who writes for the Wall Street Journal.

Today, a story that Reed wrote appeared on the WSJ Web site. In it, Floyd Landis talks about getting blood transfusions with Lance Armstrong and, among other things, how the US Postal team did not provide him with proper equipment to race on. Landis claims that was because certain people with the team were selling the bikes they got to support the team’s doping program, headed by Johan Bruyneel.

Read the story, “Blood Brothers: Cyclist Floyd Landis gives an exclusive tour through what he and others say is a culture of systematic doping in the sport,” here.
