‘Pyrenean Descent’
AS SUMMER KICKS IN I find I’m mentally tired from racing and training, and though I look forward to the Tour and will doubtlessly be uplifted by the electricity it invariably brings, I search for inspiration to get me through these summer blues.
Sure enough I came across this video gem by Micheal Barry of Team Sky, who continues to put out some of the best cycling content through words and images. His blog, Le Métier, is amazingly refreshing and leaves me wanting more.
After watching this video, which could quite possibly be worked into a James Bond or David Lynch movie, I’m inspired to carry on through the lull that is June. Best served in full screen with quality headphones in dark light.
