Very sadly, no. I injured my ankle midweek and had to rest it. I hope to do the fall version of this great race, though. I heard this year’s was not so much a climber’s course as it was a sprinter’s or an all-rounder’s, at least that is how it seems to have ended. That would have suited me OK, as I’m a little on the big side for real climbs.
The results were modified. The unknown riders were corrected and the NY Velocity racer who actually placed first was reinstated after being DQ’d for a short while.
