Bike Snob PDX
By Ian Landau
Is Eben “Bike Snob NYC” Weiss leaving us for Portland, Oregon?
Not yet, but the Snob does have an article in the current issue of Outside magazine, wherein he trains his Big Apple-bred skepticism on the rheumy-weathered, supposed-two-wheeled Shangri La of Portland.
It’s a little disconcerting to learn that the City of Roses is just about as cool as you imagined. It certainly made us think twice about decamping for wetter, friendlier pastures in the Northwest.

So-Cal’s Ritte Van Vlaanderen Team Even Funnier Than Adler

Yeah, yeah, the Adler lads are cheeky and all with their jumpsuits.
But they’ve got nothing on So-Cal’s Ritte Van Vlaanderen boys.
Check out the video below for a taste of the Ritte team’s humor:

And if you don’t know the story of the real-life namesake of the team, Henri “Ritte” Van Lerberghe, and Ritte’s assault on the 1919 Tour of Flanders, do yourself a favor and read about it here:

I love the “AmateurAllure.com” score to all their videos.
