BOOK YOUR ZIPCAR NOW. Here’s the preliminary 2010 UCI cyclocross calendar for the New England/Mid-Atlantic (plus Nats).

OK, cross is still five months away, but if you’re like me you’ll have these race dates memorized soon enough.

There will of course be dozens of other races in the region (and we’ll be sure to bring you a more thorough listing closer to cross season), but these are the big Mommas—the UCI races, with the best racers and some of the best courses.

Of note: two days at Granogue. I never did race Wissahickon, and now it’s gone. Also, the Providence Cyclocross Festival returns.

And remember: Buy your tubulars now while stocks are full.
