Season Starter at FBF is canceled
Charlie Issendorf, race director of Kissena, sent out a message to say that because of recent snowfalls and that the Floyd Bennett Field course is not regularly plowed, this Sunday’s Season Starter Road Race, February 21, is CANCELED.
The next scheduled race at Floyd Bennett Field is on March 6.
No surprise. This season starter race has been canceled before. It’s a good idea, but Jaysus, racing in February is a bit nuts around these parts.
