Wonder Wheel at Tour Bahamas
The 2010 season is already well underway for some New York City roadies with Brooklyn-based team Deno’s Wonder Wheel’s participation last week in the three-stage Tour of the Bahamas.
Brian Rafferty took second overall in the 50+ field.
The Holowesko-sponsored race attracted the Garmin U23 team and Floyd Landis in the pro field. The combined 40+/50+ field actually caught and passed the pros during the windy 70-mile road race.
